Ewan is a Partner on Grant Thornton (Cayman) LLP’s Asset Management team. He is responsible for the delivery of audit and other assurance services to clients in the financial services sector.​

Ewan studied at the University of Edinburgh and went on to train as a chartered accountant in Edinburgh. In 2000 he joined a Big 4 accounting firm in the Channel Islands, becoming an audit director in the Guernsey office in 2007. After subsequent placements in Bermuda, Singapore, and the Isle of Man, joined Grant Thornton (Cayman) LLP in 2021.

Ewan provides audit, assurance and advisory services to a broad range of financial service clients, predominantly in the asset management sector. His current and past clients include hedge, private equity, real estate funds, mutual funds, investment managers, fund administrators, corporate service providers, trust companies, pension schemes, and a family office. Ewan also has extensive experience in the banking sector having worked with the offshore operations of several global banks.
