Tim is the Chief Operating Officer and member of the Investment Committee of Atlas Merchant Capital LLC (“Atlas”), an investment firm focused on the global financial services sector.  Atlas offers debt and equity investment strategies in public and private markets through its private equity and hedge funds.

Tim has spent over 30 years in the financial services sector and has been in alternative assets for over 25 years. He currently oversees Atlas’s finance, tax, legal and operations functions and also acts as the Chief Compliance Officer.  Previously, he was the CFO of Lightyear Capital and a Vice President of Investment Partnerships, Tax and Distributions at J.P. Morgan Partners. Tim started his career at KPMG spending six years in audit positions and an additional three years in the executive office overseeing the financial reporting for the consolidated U.S. division of KPMG.

Tim is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Panmure Gordon & Co plc and a member of the Board of Trustees at the University of Scranton. He previously held board seats on numerous portfolio companies during his career.

A native of New Jersey, Tim is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Scranton.
