Mr. George Kamau was appointed as Deputy Head of the Insurance Supervision Division of the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (“CIMAʼʼ) as of 1 March 2020, having served as Chief Analyst of the division since 2014.

He brings over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, majority of which was spent at CIMA.

Prior to joining CIMA, Mr. Kamau worked in several senior level positions within areas such as accounting, asset management and insurance, both in property and casualty and life business.

Mr. Kamau holds a First Class Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from the University of Nairobi and is a Certified Public Accountant.
