Joanna Hossack is an Associate Partner at Dentons.  Her practice covers the full spectrum of banking, finance, and debt capital markets transactions.  Joanna’s dedication to sustainable finance stems from her involvement with The Chancery Lane Project, a community of international lawyers creating open access ‘green’ clauses for legal documents.  Recognizing Cayman’s crucial role in the global financial ecosystem and its vulnerability to climate change, Joanna founded The Cayman Lawyers’ ESG Project in 2022.  Its inaugural drafting event, which brought together lawyers from eight major offshore law firms, laid the foundation for a cross-sector working group dedicated to advancing sustainable finance within the Cayman financial services industry.
