Pierre Connolly is a crypto-native fiduciary professional with over 15 years of involvement in digital assets and more than a decade of experience in financial services. As Vice President at Appleby Global Services (Cayman) Limited, he serves as an independent director to blockchain and Web3 projects and tech clients across various decentralized and tokenized ecosystems.

Pierre’s journey into tech began in 2010 while studying at university, when he became an early adopter of Bitcoin. A self-described “Crypto OG,” Pierre brings both grassroots experience and institutional-grade insight to the evolving world of Web3.

Professionally, Pierre has contributed to Cayman Islands foundation structures for prominent projects and acted as a Supervisor on other foundations, including one focused on decentralized music streaming. His broader experience spans tokenized funds, real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, DeFi protocols, and content platforms.

Pierre has worked closely with leading service providers in the digital assets space, including Binance, Bybit, Coinbase, and Copper. His ability to bridge the gap between TradFi frameworks and DeFi innovation makes him a trusted partner for Web3 founders, DAOs, and institutional participants alike.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management Technology with honours from the New England Institute of Technology, is a registered director with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority, and has held the Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation since 2019.
